A large contemporary figurative oil painting depicting an older man seen in profile, shielding his eyes from the sun as he looks toward a distant boat from a balcony. Rendered in a vivid palette of hot pink, green, and bright yellow, the work suggests contemplation, distance, and the passage of time.
