"Midnight Tension" depicts a woman and man lying in bed together at night. The woman, wide awake and smoking a cigarette, stares blankly ahead, while the man lies beside her, pretending to sleep after just arriving home at 3:20 AM. The contrasting colors of vibrant vermilion, turquoise, and shades of blue highlight the duality between the two figures—the woman bathed in orange light and the man in blue. The painting measures 100 x 80 cm.
